Here is a trick to hide a drive in windows XP.I was amazed when i worked out this in my computer.so i just thought to share this trick with you friends.Here is the step by step instruction for you people to do this trick:

1.Click Start->Run.Type "diskpart” and press Run.
2.After a command prompt window appears type in “list volume“ there.(It shows all
the partitions you made in your computer).
3.Now if you want to hide a drive type the corresponding volume number.for example in my computer C drive is assigned volume 2 so i typed “select volume 2“.
4.Now type “remove letter C” (In most cases it works instantly, but sometimes restart may be required).
5.In order to unhide the drive before closing the command prompt just type "assign letter c" (or)follow the first 3 steps and then type "assign letter c" instead of "remove letter c".
