STRANGE BEHAVIOUR IN CROW

1 comments - Post a comment

Hi, this incident happened two days back.As I was in a holiday for deepavali festival my mom asked me to offer food for the crow stood outside my home.I just went out and offered it to that crow.
The crow didn't eat the food immediately rather it invited its other friends and had that food.As I was watching this nearly 10 crows came and one among that dominated all the other crows. It didn't allow all the other to eat that food. The other crows were so scared, and they stood aside without disturbing it.

The crow had enough food for its stomach and left the place.Later all other crows ate the food and left.I just narrated this story to my mom.She told yes it happened many times. She also added by cracking a very good joke. She told the crow that dominated may be a "ROWDY CROW".This made me to laugh at her saying. However , it seems that she gave an apt name for that crow.

Then I thought Why old people say like "See the crow and Learn how to share something which you got".If I take that "ROWDY CROW" as an example what will be the character?.Won't it go so worse?.Therefore, this shows there is few persons who tries to dominate other. This is not an exception to the "Five sense organisms".

Try to avoid dominating others in your life so that the other person does not develop inferiority complex.

METHOD TO FIND DAY OF A DATE

No Comment - Post a comment

To find the day just follow the steps:

1.Take the previous year of the date and divide it by 4.

2.Add the previous year with the remainder.

3.Count the number of days between the start of the year and the particular date.

4.Add it to the result obtained in step 3.

5.Divide it by 7 and find the remainder.

6.Using the remainder value find the day:

REMAINDER DAY

0 Saturday
1 Sunday
2 Monday
3 Tuesday
4 Wednesday
5 Thursday
6 Friday

For example:

Finding the day for the date 14th Feb, 2007:

1. Take previous year i.e. 2006 and divide it by 4. The answer is 501 (ignoring nos. after decimal place)

2. Then add 501 with 2006 which gives 2507.

3. Then count the days upto 14th Feb from 1st january which is 45 days.Add 45 with 2507 to obtain 2552.

4.Divide 2552 by 7 which gives 364 with 4 as remainder.

The remainder 4 specifies the Wednesday.

Hence the day is Wednesday.

TRICK TO MULTIPLY TWO DIGIT NUMBERS

8 comments - Post a comment

Here is a trick to multiply two digit number in a single step.Consider the example:

12*34

The first step is to multiply the last digit of the two numbers(ie: 2*4=8) to obtain the last digit of the result.

In the second step cross multiply the digits in the number and add it(ie:(1*4)+(2*3)=10).Now place the 0 in the second position of the result from the last and 1 will be kept as carry.

In the third step, multiply the first digit of the two number and add to carry(if any exist)(ie:(1*3)+1(carry)=4).

So the final answer is 408.

At first this method seems to take more time than the conventional method but once we train our mind to do this calculation it will be a best method.
